Robot with a Biological Brain: new research provides insights into how the brain works from PhysOrg.com
(PhysOrg.com) — A multidisciplinary team at the University of Reading has developed a robot which is controlled by a biological brain formed from cultured neurons. This cutting edge research is the first step to examine how memories manifest themselves in the brain, and how a brain stores specific pieces of data. WordPress’s that I am maintaining or supporting

August 16th, 2008 by Martin

Because I am WordPress fan and partly developer too (but not so active these days) I run and maintain multiple WP installations. Some of them are fully maintained by me, other only partly. There are also sites that are maintained by my friends and I am time from time helping them with WP issues or customization. It is great that more and more people are using this great blog/personal site engine. And with new features from version 2.5  and older? I think these features and usability improvements will gain more and more users to WordPress.

New job

August 3rd, 2008 by Martin

Well, after something more than two years I changed my job – software engineer at Logos ltd. It was a great time and really interesting people. It was very educative to work on big enterprise project for financial and government institutions. But it was time for me to change to my new love – Erlang. My new position as programmer/analyst at e-Fractal is a new challenge for me. It is very pragmatic company with very alternative approach to software development. I am really looking forward to new challenges, languages (not only Erlang or Smalltalk) and creative minds. My first impressions from first nearly month are quite better than expecte and also my latest feelings about my former employer came into reality – Logos Ltd. was acquired by Ness Technology Inc..
